Recipes to De-Bloat

The holidays are here and we’re all probably stuffed. Below are a few of my personal go-tos for de-bloating and smoother digestion.

Lemon Water - first thing in the morning, will not only improve your mood and energy levels, but will also help you “go”.

Recipe: Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon or lime into a tall glass of water and enjoy.

I try to do this 4x a week, especially after I haven’t been eating as healthy as usual. It’s an easy reset and you can do this every morning for up to a week and see instant results.

Ginger Tea - before bed, in the morning, or after meals is great for a “melting” effect and will keep your stomach moving and balanced.

Recipe: Grate some fresh ginger in a cup of boiled water and enjoy. Can be prepared with regular water too.

Papaya + Lime - works best first thing in the morning and is excellent for de-bloating. Papaya has a ton of digestive enzymes and can be used as a super light and natural laxative.

Recipe: Chop up papaya in a bowl and squeeze the juice of 1 lime juice overtop and enjoy!

Charcoal pill - this is for urgent uses only, if you happen to eat something that upset your stomach I take a charcoal pill and drink lots of water. Within minutes my stomach is back to normal. I always carry a few around in my purse for emergencies.

Recipe: Consume 1 charcoal pill with a full bottle of water or more. You can also open the pill and add the powder to drinks of your choice. Works well with lemon water also.

You can consume all of these in rotation or just use one. Either way, its a guaranteed way to feel better after being stuffed lol.
