I used this as a replacement for mayo, sour cream, dips, and many other random things.
• raw cashews - roasted, salted, or flavored cashews are not best but it can work
• nutritional yeast - there is no substitute for this
• lemon juice
• apple cider vinegar
• water - less is more, you can always add more if needed
Blend everything until smooth. Lasts about a week in the fridge.
